Update: Wednesday 8th March at 9am
We are currently experiencing delays throughout the upper South Island and upper North Island due to a crash and weather disruptions respectively.
Please see below for further detail:
Nelson & Blenheim Freight
Due to a crash that closed State Highway 65, our Christchurch-Nelson and Christchurch-Blenheim units were unable to connect through to their depots overnight. We anticipate the Nelson unit to arrive at approximately 10.45am and the Blenheim unit at approximately 11am. While we will push to get as much of this freight delivered today, please be aware that there may be still be significant delays with deliveries.
The above accident has also significantly impacted our inter-island service with both our north and south bound units unable to pass through SH65.
Major flooding across the Coromandel Peninsula has also caused road closures. This will cause delays for freight in and out of the region.
Please be assured that we will resume services once the above road closures are lifted and will endeavour to deliver freight as soon as feasibly possible.
