8 September 2017: Network Disruptions
Due to adverse weather conditions across the country, we are experiencing a number of delivery delays which may affect you.
Heavy snow has caused the complete closure of Lewis Pass and the closure of Arthur's Pass to towing vehicles, allowing no alternative route for the trucks to get through the Upper South island. There is a forecast for heavy snow on Saturday morning and road conditions will be challenging.
This means that all interisland freight will be delayed by a day and freight distributed throughout the South Island may also experience delays.
Saturday deliveries will also be affected by this closure.
We are making every effort to have all freight delivered to its destination as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and we will continue to keep you informed as information becomes available.
